Colour Shield goes live

This was my first build in a little over a year. I was a noob then and I'm a noob now. That said, I think it turned out pretty well.

This is my submission for the Fireside Jam 2022. Theme: Protect.

I forced myself to put the extravagant, elaborate, massive open world ideas on the back burner, and develop something "low-intensity" to avoid burning myself out. You can't get much more low-intensity than a big circle and lots of little circles. The colour palette of course is a defining feature - in fact, I was considering adding an option for the player to palette swap liked you'd change the theme ina  browser. Greens? Blues?

I'm not much of a programmer (I'm learning as I go and forgetting just as frequently) so this was a perfect way to get myself back into that world. Something so small to everybody else can be so big to you. This is a simple game to play, but for someone totally new to programming, it's a whole adventure. The Fireside jam is nine days long, I think, and this is what I've made accomplished in four. Unfortunately I can't commit to working the same hours I have been for the rest of the jam.

Anyway, I hope it is enjoyed.
