Colour Shield is a simple game built for the Fireside jam 2022. The theme for the jam was "Protect".

  • Use your mouse to aim the shield to deflect the bouncing projectiles.
  • A new projectile is added every 10 seconds.
  • Points are effectively the number of bounces made off of your shield.
  • If the circle is hit its hue will shift until it disappears completely.

UPDATE: Colour Shield v2.1 now has a slider to adjust the speed of the balls! The last position you leave the slider in will be remembered, so have a game playing around with the ball speed and then go for a highscore!

I got 124 on the slowest yeah... im kind of a big body gamer. No big deal

My highscores are:

116 on fastest

121 on slowest

Only managed to break 100. I'll try to beat it when I play it again for rating. Love the colour scheme and minimal look. The way you implemented the tutorial with gameplay was fab.

Thanks so much for playing. I'm glad to hear the tutorial paid off because it turned out to be trickier to make than I'd thought it would be. The jam is over, but I may still come by to improve it some more.
